NORTHEAST OHIOANS STAY CLOSE TO HOME: Ambiance helps Clevelanders keep the home fires burning

When Clevelanders go on vacation, they’re less likely to travel outside the United States than residents of 19 other cities. That’s according to a study released last month by LivingSocial.com, an online source for local deals and experiences. So why don’t people who live on the shores of Lake Erie travel to Lake Victoria or Loch Ness? Ambiance has a theory.

Home is where the heart is for northeast Ohioans. Residents can watch a baseball game, swim at the beach, visit an art museum—all nearby. Then they can snuggle up with a loved one in the comfort of their own bed. Ambiance, the Store for Lovers, helps Clevelanders keep the home fires burning with its extensive selection of lingerie as well as personal, romantic and intimate products.

“Traveling abroad is fun, but there’s no place like home,” says Jennifer Downey, president of Ambiance. “Couples in a strong relationship don’t need to venture thousands of miles away to find excitement. They can get rejuvenated with a play-cation close to home.”

Since 1981, woman-owned Ambiance has been enhancing the love lives of committed couples at stores throughout Northeast and Central Ohio. Each store employs Certified Romance Consultants, who complete an extensive “Think Like a Customer” six-week training program to ensure they understand the products and their customers. Ambiance has won numerous awards for its world-
class customer service as well as its commitment to the communities it serves.
