"Culture of Customer Comfort" brings Ambiance World Class Customer Service Honor

Ambiance President Jennifer Downey stands
with other 2012 WCCS Honorees
For the sixth consecutive year, Smart Business is honoring Ambiance, the Store for Lovers for World Class Customer Service. Ambiance is one of only four companies, and the only retailer, to be honored every year the awards have been handed out.

From the latest edition of Smart Business:

Ambiance, the Store for Lovers, aims to promote a better love life, and thus a better relationship, for its customers. However taking steps toward that — namely buying highly intimate, and for some, embarrassing, items — can be difficult for the average consumer.
That is why President Jennifer Downey has built a company culture focused on exceptional service and attention to each customer’s desires and comfort levels. The company trains its “Romance Consultants” over four to six weeks, incorporating an extensive training guide culminating in a 22-page exam. Romance Consultants learn how to get to know customers and foster trust through Ambiance’s proven “Think Like a Customer” program.

Smart Business will hold its annual World Class Customer Service Awards on Thursday, June 7th, 2012. The magazine recognizes businesses that excel at raising the bar for customer service at this prestigious event, held at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven. Award winners for 2011 included Cox Communications, Huntington National Bank, Inc., and Heinens.
