Contest Winners Shop at Private Ambiance Party: Five Columbus-area women treated to a fun afternoon with friends

Five lucky winners and their friends attended the “Ambiance Lingerie & Champagne Party” earlier this month at the Store For Lovers' newest location in Columbus. Each winner received a $75 gift certificate, while friends who joined them at the event got 25 percent off their entire purchase.
A grand prize winner, announced at the party, won free lingerie for a year. She is getting married in July and is excited to choose from Ambiance’s extensive selection of lingerie perfect for a romantic honeymoon.
The contest coincides with the store’s 1st anniversary. Located at 175 E. Campus View Blvd., just north of I71 off of Rt. 23, the store opened Dec. 22, 2011, to provide an upscale shopping experience for couples featuring an extensive selection of lingerie as well as personal, romantic and intimate products. This is the 8th retail location for Ambiance, the store dedicated to the notion that “Monogamy Shouldn't be Monotonous.”
Local TV station Fox 28 ran the online contest on its website. Winners were treated to an afternoon of champagne, petit fours and shopping in a private setting with the help of Ambiance’s Certified Romance Consultants. All consultants complete an extensive “Think Like a Customer” six-week training program to ensure they understand the products and their customers.
“Our mission is to provide a relaxing shopping experience in an upscale environment,” says Chrysty Harmon, manager of the Columbus store. “We’re not just trying to sell an item to customers. We listen to couples and educate them about our products so they make the right selections and ultimately forge stronger relationships.”
Since 1981, Ambiance has been enhancing the love lives of committed couples at stores throughout northeast Ohio. Our Certified Romance Consultants can help couples find the perfect intimate gifts for one another to ignite passion during the holidays and throughout the new year. “The holidays are hectic for so many couples, but you can’t leave your love life out in the cold,” says Jennifer Downey, president of Ambiance. “Ambiance can help spark passion and romance.”
